George B Allan and Company is seeking experienced process controls, industrial instrumentation, mechanical, steam  and fluid controls sales professional. Candidate shall have 2 years experience with instrument and control systems preferably in process industries.  A grasp of process measurement and control instruments is essential as well as fundamental understanding of thermodynamics, fluid flow, heat transfer, high temperature processes, controls and overall system integration.  Focus will be on develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, prospect for new business (new and existing customers), serve as technical expert resource offering solutions, maintain a thorough knowledge of current and new products and technologies, evaluate and answer RFQ’s and information requests, utilize GBA CRM system, meet sales goals and develop the existing customer base in assigned territory. We are seeking a solution based sales talent with technical aptitude.  Position offers commission pay, company car, medical, vision, dental, 401k. 50% travel required.

REQUIREMENTS:

2 years experience in fluid control, instrumentation, process controls, steam, air, water

Strong ability to identify opportunities and provide solutions

Ability to generate business and build relationships

Willing to travel (50% travel)

Clean DMV

Authorization to work in US (no sponsorship)

Able to pass background check and drug test

Position is based out of Dallas-Fort Worth area, no relocation assistance.
